X-ray vision there are some good things and some bad things about this. The good think is that he is able to see if there is anything that is broken or if something is wrong with the person. The weakness is that sometime his x-ray vision goes off at in appropriate times which gets him into hot water with others sometime.

Enhanced senses is good if there is danger and people needed to get out of the area quickly. The down side is that if anyone was able to capture him and use knock out liquid or something he will feel the effect almost immediately.

Telepathy it is good if you need to get information from someone. The downside is that if some thought is aimed towards you and at full blast you would end up getting a headache that doesn't go away for sometime.

General: Derek is a man who likes to be ready for anything. He is a neat person. He keeps his hair style slightly messy, but not totally out of control. His clothes are iron and neat. When he usally stands it in a relax pose. When he is uncomfortalbe he will figet a little bit. He has a tattoo on the back of his right shoulder blade of black panther. He has a scar over his left eye from a gun that went of that was ment to kill him at one of his mission.

General:

When Derek was younger he had been a good student in school. He helped his parents when they needed helped. When he joined the CIA his parent supported him. He was devastated when his parents died in a plane crash. He mourned then and then got back on with his life.
Derek and his sister were very close. So after the accident, she disappeared without tell Derek where she had gone. He is worried about her and will find her if that the last thing that he does.

Derek was a good CIA agent, he was a bachelor. He had a home and he had work he was content where he was. That was before the accident happened.

Arrival:

One day he was a normal person then a few weeks later he noticed that he was different. In the CIA building there was a fire that he was able to get everyone to safety. He didn't tell anyone about his new found abilities. He actually got caught when someone figured out how he was able to stop the fire from happening. The head of the CIA, had a meeting with a few people at the building and he accidentally let one of the board members secret out of the bag. When asked how he knew, he told them about his abilities. The next thing he knows he is out of a job. He went in search of a place that will help him with his ability as will as help others. That is when he found himself at Sanctorum.

General:

Stealth

He wanted to be able to not be noticed at times, so he practice being quiet. In some situation, he help police identified a serial killer , just by accident. He caught the guy in the grocery store, he called the police. the police came and took the guy away. The bad thing that stealth has is that he found out that his girlfriend was cheating on him with the quarterback of the football team in high school.

Knowledgeable

Derek is pretty knowledgeable about many things. When he was growing up he made sure other knew that he was smart. That did not make many friends. He did not tell people everything as soon as he found out that no wanted to be around a know it all. So he only give information when he was asked.

Skills:

[*]handling a gun (since he joined the CIA he was taught everything about guns, about how to use them right, how to clean them, dismantle and reassemble the guns. Not ever situation needs a gun. Having a gone have gotten him into some trouble because he didn't have his gun license, he had to put his vacation on hold till they found his gun license.)

[*]able to fight well(along with his training in the CIA he was trained to fight. He has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. As well as k now how to make anything into a weapon if he needs too. Some of the job for the CIA he couldn't do because he had too much fighting skill. So he was passed up for a very important mission.)

[*]know how to speak five language ( he knew in school that knowing different languages might help in the future so he took French Spanish and Japanese. In the CIA he learned Chinese and Russian. Since he know those language, if he catches a conversation that is very private and graphic, he turns red with embarrassment. )

Hobbies/Recreation: read that is one of the recreation things that Derek like to do in his free time. Write also another one of the recreation things he like do. His hobby was collection comic books.
